Hunger Games

By: Suzanne Collins

"When I was younger, I scared my mother to death, the things I would blurt out about District 12, about the people who rule our country, Panem, from the far-off city called the Capitol. Eventually I understood this would only lead us to more trouble. So I learned to hold my tongue and to turn my features into an indifferent mask so that no one could ever read my thoughts.'

" I volunteer, i volunteer as tribute!"

" I want the audience to recognize you when you're in that arena." " Katniss, the girl who was on fire."

Hunger Games

In The Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins has created a fascinating dystopian world. Reading The Hunger Games can lead to so many new discoveries and you'll question things about our government and our world, how our society works! I was infatuated through the hole book, the whole series for that matter!! Suzanne Collins puts in such great diction that when you read her books it's like you're in the book or the movie. due to the trilogies dark side I recommend this book for teenagers and adults.
