Sources of Strength Spirit Week
Janitell Junior High celebrated Sources of Strength (SOS) week with fun activities to engage students to connect to one another. The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent suicide by increasing help seeking behaviors and promoting connections between peers and caring adults. Students celebrated different parts of SOS each day including the most fun day which was "Dress like Twins - Positive Friends Day" in which a photo booth was set up during lunch time for students to take pictures with their "twins." As you can see below, even our SRO Deputy Torres got in on the fun!

Another shout out from Frank Pacheco in Facilities...Check out the rack that Ryan Niskern built this week. It was designed to hold plumbing pipe for organization. Pretty nifty!
