Message from the Principal
Hello parents,
Each week our talented and hardworking students continue to impress. Fourteen high school students were selected as All-Conference athletes in their respective sports. Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Field Hockey, Football and Cross Country all saw Herd athletes excelling on the playing fields. The list of honorees includes:
Kayla Rozanski - Soccer
Lea Malone - Soccer
Sarah Schollenberger - Soccer
Shannon Kelly - Soccer
Samuel Oni - Soccer
Gabby Rone - Field Hockey
Ania Holland - Field Hockey
Marcus McGruder - Football
Picard Messado-Moten - Football
Andre Parker - Football
Dustin Moore - Football
Terrell Holloway - Football
Devin Love - Football
Brady Shute - Cross Country
Congratulations to these students in particular and to all of our fall sports teams. You represented the Thundering Herd with distinction!
Yesterday evening, our Junior High school choir and band students performed beutifully
at their concert. Pieces such as The Nutcracker, You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch, and Feliz Navidad delighted the crowd. Proud parents and grandparents filled the room. If you enjoyed the show, be sure to come back out on December 19 for the HS holiday concert.
Looking ahead to next week and beyond, the US military will make a presentation to high school students on Monday. On Friday, our inaugural Reindeer Games will launch where HS students will compete in a series of fun, holiday-themed competitions. Students return to school from winter break on January 2, Friday, January 5 is our Annual Alumni Day where recent graduates come back to speak with our current students about their experiences in college. All staff will be wearing shirts from their alma maters. This is always a fantastic event!
Well, as the snowflakes come down, be sure to take some time and enjoy the season with your families and loved ones! Have a great weekend!
Keep Love Present,
Dr. Vivadelli
