Zohaib Asif 8.2 - Always very helpful to another student and no negative logs all year
Faiza Rani Shafiq 8.4 - For being extremely diligent and civil despite the actions of other students during a cover lesson.
Year 9
Mohammed Karim 9Ox1 – Feeling unwell on Monday morning but showing the diligence to get himself in to school to ensure he maintains 100% attendance. Excellent.
Rose Patel 9Ox1 – Displaying diligence, civility and integrity with her contribution towards the running of the DKA Talent Competition.

Ms. Amin, Mr. Alam & Mrs Miah, who all helped out with whatever needed doing
Mr. Laughlin, supporting the event from its earliest planning stages right through to the end
Mr. Priestley & the site team, for efficiently delivering & packing up equipment & chairs
Ms. Shah, Ms. Gayle & Ms. Sangha - adjudicators who struck just the right tone (and definitely made the right decisions:-) - especially Ms Sangha who stood in last-minute!
Mr. Javed, for his AALYA presentation
Mr. Kirby & Mr. Bratley for providing essential equipment (even if the screen wasn't needed in the end - sorry Tom!)
The PE department for surrendering a teaching space for the day so we could set up
Reception staff, for dealing with whatever came up and whoever came in

Miss Gordon-Jarrett - for showing incredible commitment by coming into school to teach with no voice and making use of a microphone all day so that she was heard.
Miss Gayle - for making 1:1 sessions with a student incredibly useful.
Amy Cronin - making excellent flash cards for A Christmas Carol.
Kay and Heather from the catering team who continually pull out the stops to meet the short notice requests for hospitality ensuring that events and meetings are catered for without any fuss.

Mr McCall – organising lots of different football fixtures this week.
Miss Gayle for helping out with my Year 11 Intervention group.
Miss Jennings – For simply being a real star! She always completes any request before the due date and is extremely friendly and approachable. Thank you!
Mrs Istoan – For being extremely efficient in completing all requests and for her friendly welcome every morning!
Miss Wharton – For always dealing with issues effectively and for always being on hand to support!
Miss Sangha – For always going above and beyond in her role as a year 8 tutor. Always meeting deadlines and efficiently completing any tasks set.

Isma Ali, Taaiba Azhar, Salman Ali, Hanna Hussain & Laareb Akhtar, organised the event, and did very well for their first attempt!
Rose Patel, who stood in on drums for the staff band, and ended up playing in 6 out of the 7 performances.

Daniyal Khan- very good diligence shown by making revision notes ahead of the mock exams and staying behind after school to get support with exam questions
Aisha Rauf- excellent diligence demonstrated by completing exam style questions in your own time as part of your revision and politely asking for them to be marked so you can improve
MFL Stars of the Week!
Junaid Ilyas (Y11) for diligence shown in Spanish homework to practise exam skills. He has achieved 100% in all recent homework set.
Aliyah Khan (Y9) for outstanding work produced in Spanish and always putting in 100% effort.
Awais Hussain (Y11) for delivering an excellent Do Now activity in the Language Leaders Club and dealing effectively and efficiently with the spanner in the works.

Rameeshah Mehreen & Ikrah Iqbal – for having two excellent lessons this week and for really trying hard in both lessons! Coming to the lesson fully equipped and having completed homework! Engaging fully in the tasks set and attempting the work with 100% focus. Well done and keep it up!
Saarah Khaliq, Asiyah Javed, Maleeha Khan, Sana Ashfaq, Aliya Janjua & Maariya Shaikh – For completing all intervention homework and working diligently in intervention for the past few weeks. Well done!
Science Stars of the Week!
Hasnain Ali: showing diligence and Integrity, he has improved his behaviour and attitude towards learning and has achieved an outstanding 40/49 mark (82%) on his recent assessment for Inheritance, variation and evolution. He came on top of the class.
Ikrah Iqbal: Diligence, Works really hard in class and achieved 81% in her latest assessment and came second in the class.
Zulkarnain Ur Rehman: Diligence. Constantly works hard in lesson and puts full effort in his work and achieved 79% in his recent assessment and came 3rd in the class.
