ANTI-VICTIMIZATION Counselor LESSON OPT OUT
Dear Parent/Guardian:
As part of a comprehensive school counseling program, Elementary students in grades Pre-K - 5 are presented with information that enables them to recognize personal boundaries, individual rights and the privacy needs of others. Research based programs are used to deliver this information in an interactive, engaging way.
The counseling department recognizes the family as the cornerstone of discussion and interaction related to issues of personal safety or abuse. If you have questions about the content of these lessons or would like to view the materials, please contact me. Additionally, if you do not wish for your child to participate, please contact me at the email address or phone number listed below. More information is below related to the program that will be used to teach your child how to keep themselves and others safe. Thank you for your partnership as we work together to keep all our children safe!
