Resurrection Connection
Version 3.13.2020
School Will Be Closed Next Week - March 16 - 20
The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priorities. Following the guidance from the Catholic Schools Office, Resurrection School will be closed at the end of the school day today through March 27th which includes on week of Spring Break. Teachers have been discussing with students all week and especially today on how to be prepared for next week.
We will incorporate eLearning days next week for students in grades K-8. Below is a form to help you access their e-learning lessons via Sycamore. We have sent a paper copy of this form home also with your children today in their green folders. Teachers will post assignments online for their classes in Sycamore. Students were told how and when they could access their assignments. Teachers will be available each day from 8:00 am-2:00 pm via email. Students were told to take all books home as no one will be permitted to enter the building after 6:00 pm today.
Assignments will be due upon the first day returning. Attendance will be based on completed assignments returned to the teacher.
Per Catholic Schools Office directives, all extra-curricular sports, school sponsored events, fundraisers, field trips and non-essential meetings are cancelled through Monday, April 6, 2020.
A determination about possibly extending the closure will be reassessed at the end of Spring Break. We will also be sending out messages via School Messenger and email for any updates.
We urge you to make sure you can login to Sycamore today. If you have any issues with logging in, please contact Mrs. Lappe at llappe@evdio.org or Mr. Keith at jkeith@evdio.org. The school code is 2147.

IRead and ILearn Testing
ILearn testing is for grades 3-8. The testing window for ILearn is April 20 - May 15. We are in the process of developing the schedule for this testing window.
We ask you please make sure your children do not have appointments on these dates. We will be testing online for all of these tests. Their attendance on these dates, especially in the mornings, is vital.
8th Grade Play
We were able to accommodate all who wanted to attend. The eighth graders did an excellent job with this performance.
We would like to thank Mrs. Mills, Mr. Keith, Mrs. Joffray, Mrs. Schmitz, Fr. Jerry, and Mrs. Bonnie Ambrose for coaching our students to become great actors. We also thank Mrs. Shari Weinzapfel for cooking a delicious spaghetti dinner for all our guests.
Thank you also to all our guests at the play last night who helped clean up our gym after the show. Our Resurrection community is incredible.
