Indiana Students Share Safe Driving Project at National Conference
Congratulations FCCLA Adviser Karen Nading
Edna Folger Outstanding Teacher
Karen Nading, who teaches at Columbus East High School and is part of the C4 Columbus Area Career Connection, received the 2019 Edna V. Folger Outstanding Teacher Award on Thursday at the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting. She teaches family and consumer science, and is the sponsor for the local chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Her teaching career spans 42 years.

Taking Down Tobacco
Educate students in your classroom while earning money for your Chapter
FCCLA and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK) are encouraging chapters across the nation to get involved in life-saving advocacy as we work together to Take Down Tobacco and #BetheFirst tobacco-free generation! The first 25 chapters receive 100 dollars.
Nutrition Training Grant Workshop - Wednesday April 24th
Register today to be part of the Nutrition Training Grant Workshop. This workshop is funded by the USDA Team Nutrition Funds. This new curriculum (Forecasting Your Future: Nutrition Matters) was intentionally designed to maximize student learning and interest by integrating life skills and partnership activities with experiences in school nutrition. As part of this project you will receive resources to implement in your schools.
