ACT Aspire
Our students worked hard all year long, learning new content and building their toolbox of skills. It's time for them to demonstrate what amazing growth they have accomplished this year.
- 5th graders will be taking the ACT Aspire on Tuesday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 11.
- 6th graders will be taking the ACT Aspire on Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13.
To ensure that each student's performance on the test accurately reflects what they know and are able to do, we encourage all of our students to get a full night's sleep and eat a nutritious breakfast before their test.
Ozark Water Project
Water scarcity is one of the global crises that affect billions of people around the world. CMSN is collecting old shoes for the Ozark Water Project, a non-profit organization right here in Arkansas. Ozark Water Project uses the old shoes to generate funds to purchase well-digging supplies, purification systems, and materials to perform hand-pump repairs in communities without clean water access.
Students can bring their donated shoes through April 7th.
To learn more about this organization, please visit their website at http://www.ozarkwaterprojects.org/ or watch the video below!
Thank You!

One Book One School
We are excited to introduce our new One Book, One School book for the second semester! Our new book is Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix and it is the first book in the Shadow Children Series. This fiction book is jam-packed with mystery and suspense with a futuristic twist leaving readers with a constant question in their minds, “what would I do in this situation?”
Each advisory teacher will read several chapters from the book to the class each Friday. We will have trivia questions and prizes. Students will have the opportunity to win their own copy of the book AND even have the chance to win the GRAND PRIZE: The complete seven book set of the Shadow Children Series! Copies of the first three books will be on sale in the book store.
