Postcards Needed

Do you know friends and family living abroad? We are looking for postcards from different places outside the US as part of our upcoming One School, One Book. You can have friends and family send postcards addressed to OPES students. Please include in the postcard how the person is connected to our school. For example, "cousin of student name." We hope to display them around the building and read some on the morning announcements. Please send postcards to Orchard Park Elementary School, 474 Third Baxter Street, Fort Mill, SC 29708 USA. All postcards should be received by March 1, 2023.

Happy New Year! We were able to give the teachers a wonderful surprise this Christmas by increasing the classroom budgets to $500 for the year. Thank you to our wonderful parents and our community for supporting our annual Boosterthon fundraiser so that we can continue to provide additional funding and activities for our school and our teachers. Speaking of activities, stay tuned for more information about the following upcoming events:

Hollywood Winter Dance

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 4th! We're rolling out the red carpet at OPES for a Hollywood-themed Winter Dance. It will be an evening to remember with music, dancing, refreshments and more! Tickets are now live for purchase through the PTO website (https://orchardparkpto.membershiptoolkit.com) or by scanning the QR code on the flyer. Please be aware that an adult is required to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
