Summer To Do List
Itâs here! Well, almost :). Summer is a great time to attend the Extended Year to: catch up on any credits/course youâre behind on, get ahead on courses/credits, or get a jump start on the 2022-23 school year. Click here if you have not filled out the Extended Year form yet.
Other great things to do in the summer:
- Get outside! Walk, swim, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, picnic⌠being outside is great for our bodies and minds.
- Build skills for the future: job shadow, volunteer, interview someone in the field you are interested in, work a part-time job. All of these will help you decide on what path to take your future plans and build your skill resume.
- Apply for scholarships! There are a lot of options out there and many you can apply for before your senior year.
- Consider options like Dual Enrollment to earn high school credit and college credit at the same time.
- Practice your typing speed and accuracy with an online program.
Summer is a good time to read a book! Check out our school library, the Sora Library. See this flyer for information on how to download the Sora app and access the SCWS library titles. See also Dr. White's video on how to use the app once it's downloaded.
