😃Optimist Club Essay Winners🖋️

Fourth graders Richard Stephens and Peter Spurgin were recognized by the Trenton-Dade Optimist Club for their winning essays about their hero. They read their essays for the Club and had some delicious Guthrie's chicken.

Congratulations to Carter Evans (3rd) for his Character Award recognition from the Trenton-Dade Optimist Club. Carter was recognized for his exceptional kindness to others, strong work ethic, and servant leadership!

👨‍🔬Science Field Trips🔭

Davis Yellow Jackets have been on several field trips this school year! Two groups went to the Creative Discovery Museum, two groups visited the planetarium, and we still have Tigers for Tomorrow this week. Next up: the arts! Our third graders got to see their ideas come to life on the stage at DCHS last month, and our 5th graders will attend a play this month.

Yellow Jackets Attend Lookouts Game

Several of our Yellow Jackets received a free ticket to the Lookouts baseball game for being a 'Most Improved Student' this year!

Our 5th graders will have promotion on Tuesday, May 23rd at 10 am. Parents, please take a look at the 5th grade calendar and promotion letter that was sent home last week. We can't believe it's time for our Yellow Jackets to become Wolverines!
