Prescription Drugs affect your brain by reacting to the receptors that involve the perception of pain and pleasure.
What Are the Other Effects of Prescription Drugs?
Some of the effects are tiredness, sick to the stomach, constipation, being paranoid, heart beating too fast, slurred speech, shallow breathing, and lack of coordination.
Can You Get Addicted to Prescription Drugs?
Yes, prescription drugs that effect the brain, including opioid painkillers, stimulants, and depressants, may cause physical dependence that can turn into addiction.

Yes you can die from an overdose.
