Freshman Seminar Update
Class of 2025
End of year update
Hello Parents and Guardians,
As the end of the school year is quickly approaching, we wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for partnering with us as your 9th grade learner transitioned to Hall High School. There is an important shift we wanted to note about our School Counseling department for your learners' 10th grade year. The School Counseling department is structured so there are two grade 9 counselors and six grade 10-12 counselors. As your learner is assigned to a grade 10-12 counselor this coming year, this school counselor will remain with them through their high school experience. Below you will see the school counselor assignment breakdown by last name. Their new counselor will meet with your student early on in the new school year. They are excited to partner with you for the remainder of their high school experience. As part of our school and department mission to build strong family partnerships and continuously improve our programming, we kindly ask that you take a moment to complete the survey below.
Best of luck to you and your family. Enjoy your summer!

Freshman seminar cycle 4: PSAT
PSAT 9
The PSAT 8/9 helps students determine what they need to work on most so that they’re ready for college when they graduate from high school—and it supports educators as they guide the way.
The PSAT 8/9 tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10—in a way that makes sense for eighth and ninth graders. It measures what they’re already learning, shows them whether they’re on track for college, and lets them know where they need the most improvement. That means students have time to tackle these areas long before they take the SAT.
