Science Under The Stars
Come to CCPS to celebrate National Science Week 2013
Update for next Friday - 9th August 2013
We have been overwhelmed by the response to our Science Under the Stars event. As many of you know the telescope sessions and indigenous astronomy talk sold out within weeks of us advertising them.
Please remember that these booked events are only one part of the program on the night. There are also hands-on activities, demonstrations, exhibition of student science and art work, IPad/tablet astronomy (see below) sessions, face painting and more. None of these activities require a booking and are absolutely free. We would encourage you to attend even if you haven’t been able to book a session at the telescopes.
We have added some additional events to the program and these are available to be booked into at the booking site https://register.eventarc.com/16734/science-under-the-stars
Please visit the CCPS Science website for updates and more background information about the night.

Telescope sessions
If you are booked in to attend one of the telescope sessions, we would like to gently remind you to please bring along a gold coin donation. The telescope sessions are being organised by volunteers from the NSAS who are being extremely generous with their time and effort.
Could we please request you to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the session. We will need time to sign you off and would like to give you the whole half hour to spend with the telescopes.
Lastly, if you have booked a session but are no longer able to attend, could you please let us know so that we can release those tickets to others.
