Leigh Tillman, Manager of eLearning for Mosaica Online, has been in the field of education for 17 years. After teaching in the face to face classroom for 8 years, she began to pursue teaching opportunities in virtual education. She began her online career with Georgia Virtual School in June of 2005, and served in a variety of roles, ranging from teacher to Manager of Instruction, during her tenure there. In July of 2009, she accepted a position with Kaplan Virtual Education as Curriculum Manager for Mathematics, where she worked with aligning content to various state standards, editing and creating content, and acted as a liaison between the Curriculum Department and the Mathematics Department. She also hosted multiple online Professional Development courses for teachers. In March of 2010, Leigh joined the Mosaica Education, Inc., team as STEM Coordinator. Currently, Leigh and her family reside in Birmingham, AL. She is married to Kyle, and they have two children: Ashton (8) and Glavine (5). When she is not working, Leigh enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family.
