Nicole Klump is the newest addition to our Early Learner program, bringing 4 years work experience in Preschool as a dedicated classroom volunteer. Archery Club at SLS
An Archery club will start here at SLS this year. This club will meet once a week for an hour and a half and twice a week closer to competition time. You don't have to have your own bow, as we have our own that you may use. If you have questions about the club/team please ask Miss Trenkamp at etrenkamp@st.louisschool.org or at school.
If your child has already signed up for archery please visit Miss Trenkamp's webpage under Coach Trenkamp and scroll down to archery. Extreme Makeover: Classroom Edition
When Mrs. Lents’s students returned to St. Louis School in August, they were met with a classroom makeover. Thanks to the generosity of the CREATE Foundation and the help of principal Chad Moeller, IT Director Jessica Imel, and Maintenance Director Wade Ryle, Mrs. Lents was able to get a flexible seating environment for her students. Her classroom makeover included new floors, fresh paint, two large screen tvs, and a wide variety of seating options for her kids.
Students now have the opportunity to choose a seat that is more comfortable and conducive to their personal learning styles. It gives the students choices and accountability for their learning, and allows Mrs. Lents more flexibility in her instructional strategies. Students in our world today must be able to work cooperatively with others and think critically. Flexible seating arrangements give kids the opportunity to develop these crucial skills in a relaxed environment.
