About Walker Elementary
A Message from Mrs. Ryan & Mrs. Farris
Dear Walker Families,
We are ready for the sixth week of school! This week brings us to the month of October.
Our Virtual Parent-teacher conferences were a huge success for our families. We hope you enjoyed this time to connect to your child's teacher and their classroom. Hopefully, this time enabled you to learn more about things happening at school and how you can partner with us to best meet your child's needs.
We would like to encourage every family to join the Walker PTA. Our PTA does so much to support our school and we would like to connect all of our families through the PTA. To join, use the QR code shown below. PTA is offering a prize for the classroom with the most PTA memberships. You can sign up all your family members, even grandparents.
In order to keep our morning drop off line as short as possible, we ask that you have your child get out of the vehicle when you pull up and traffic stops next to the sidewalk. Please check out the map below showing the unloading zone next to the sidewalk that runs along the front of the gym and school.
Thank you for partnering with us for your child's education. We are here for your child each and every day. If there is a question, concern, or even an idea to share, please reach out to your child's teacher or to either one of us. Please read the newsletter below for important updates and changes happening at Walker and in the Springdale School District. We look forward to a great 2020-2021 school year.
Thank you,
Mrs. Lynn Ryan, Principal, lryan@sdale.org
Mrs. Carrie Farris, Assistant Principal, cfarris@sdale.org
