Shoutouts and Celebrations
Thank you for your outstanding effort, kindness, excellence, and selflessness.
The Entire Staff - We have submitted 1,071 shoutouts and celebrations this year! Well done.
Jeanette Turbeville - Has been an absolute ROCK STAR during the school shut down! She continued to advocate for our SpEd students with our teachers, and she kept in contact with staff to make sure everything ran smoothly! She met with kids constantly for hours, and at any hour that worked best for them! She was able to get some of our most challenging kids to meet with her and complete work so that they could pass their classes! Honestly, it feels like she has never left the building. A huge thank you to Jeanette for all the work she has done; your communication has been amazing! You have truly made an impact on our student learning!
Gen Ed Staff - Thank you for your consistent support of our SpEd students! Following up on random-thought emails, your willingness to check and re-check grades/transcripts/etc, participating in google meets just to say "Hi!" to students, knowing we need so much information to assist our students and being there to provide that information, communicating student progress without being asked knowing how valuable that information is for student success, doing the extra for our kids (homework sheets/check-ins/etc). Honestly, some of the kids would not have made it academically or emotionally without your support. Thank you!!!
Logan Kimberly - He created an individual induction video for EVERY NHS inductee!! Wow! Great job.
Jenna Scheithauer - She is just the sweetest and always brightens my day! I miss her!
Steph Posta and Tammy Merth - Met with me to help me plan my work for the summer and make our program even bigger and better for next school year! Thank you!!
Kurt Soderberg - Has top-notch dad jokes and generally fun demeanor to lighten the mood even through a really tough week (and year). Thank you!
Sandy Weitgenant - Made beautiful cards for our virtual seniors!!! How special and thoughtful! Thank you :)
Kamen Flanders - He makes such a profound impact on kids that need it most. Just incredible.
Sandy Weitgenant and Deb Roberts - Made awesome graduation cards for each and every one of our graduates!
John Tackmann - This crazy cartilage bicycled over 60 miles on the hottest and most humid day of the year (so far) to say thanks and congrats to his AP Environmental Science students.
Ty Ketz - We will miss you, Ketz!! I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Thanks to everyone!! - Supporting youth and being flexible in challenging times.
Tracy Klien - Helped out one of my students
SCC Kitchen staff, Carolyn, Greg, Larry, Bus drivers and volunteers! - Made the student food delivery possible by working together seamlessly. Very much appreciated. Hugs.
To all the people that helped with the food program for families - Thank you for all your hard work!
