Student Placement for 2021-2022
We will begin making decisions about student placement for fall later this month. Our goal is for each student to be in a classroom where their academic and emotional needs are met. Current classroom teachers provide pertinent information on each student in the class. Counselors and learning specialists provide additional information. Using all the data gathered, the teachers and administrators make the decisions regarding class assignment.
Classroom placement is very important and we want to consider all relevant
information so that our placements will ensure the greatest possible learning for every child.
We respectfully request that parents DO NOT ask for a specific teacher.
If you have information regarding your child’s strengths, weaknesses, and
learning style that could help us with our placement decisions, we welcome this input in the form of a letter. This is not required. All information will be considered carefully.
· Please send letters to the attention of
Mrs. Diana DeMoss- ddemoss@cpsk12.org
· Letters are due by May 14, 2021 for consideration of placement for fall 2021.
If your student is not returning To Fairview in the Fall -
Shakespeare's Frozen Pizza Spring Fundraiser - Forms due May 5th
PTA’s spring fundraiser is here! Our Shakespeare’s frozen pizza sales are another way we raise funds to support our teachers, students, and school community. Order forms were sent home in your child’s Friday Folder April 23rd and you have until Tuesday, May 4th to sell pizzas to friends and neighbors. All order forms are due back at school by Wednesday, May 5th. Then on Monday, May 24th at 3:30pm. Shakespeare’s will have your order ready for you to pick up from their refrigerated box truck in the parking lot by Fairview Park (south of the school). Please keep in mind that normal dismissal procedures will be taking place in the front circle drive. You will then deliver the pizzas to your friends and family who ordered.
As always, thank you for helping support Fairview!

It is never too late to return a library book - even if it has been months or years! We are always glad to get books back! Also, you can return any library book to any school and it will get sent to where it needs to be. So if you find a book after you have changed schools, you can return it to the school you are at and it will be sent to the right place. Please do another search for all overdue library books!
Most iPads are being used at school only and are not being sent home each day. Please return keyboards, cords and chargers, no matter what condition they are in.
Thank you!
