Choir UIL Update

This year, choir UIL EVALUATION will be hosted at TMHS as an in house contest with both TMHS and Willow Wood Choirs. We are extremely grateful that our students will be allowed to have this in person performance/contest opportunity, as many districts have chosen to do so in a virtual format.

UIL Concert and Sightreading will be on Saturday, March 27.

Specific times for each choir will be announced soon- this is a required performance for all academically eligible, in person students.

Solo and Ensemble Practice TImes

This week we will begin after school practices for solo and ensemble participants. 5th period Belles, we will begin learning your solos next week during advisory time. Practices resources for all students will be available by Monday in Schoology in your digital binder.

If you would like individual help on your solo, please use the sign up genius below to sign up for a time next week.

REMINDER: Pay Your Solo and Ensemble Fees

If you have not yet paid your $40 solo and ensemble fee, please do so ASAP!

Students have been assigned their solo pieces and we will be completing their contest entries, but cannot do so until they have paid or filled out the point request form! Please take care of this ASAP!

Candy Fundraiser Update

Our choir students are doing a FANTASTIC job with our candy fundraiser- continue selling!

All funds will be due on Friday, February 12!

Big picture

If you signed up for President's Day Flags, we will distribute flags on Saturday, February 13. We will be at MINI-U storage on Spring Cypress from 9-10AM for flag pick up. We will leave the flags out until Sunday, February 21. We will be at the storage unit for flag return from 3-4PM to accept flags.

PLEASE BE PROMPT WITH BOTH PICK-UP AND RETURN OF FLAGS! These times are when someone will be at there to give & receive the flags, NOT when you should start collecting the flags for return. You can pick up the day before but you will need to store the flags in a secure location until the return time. The flag committee is made up of volunteers who are giving their personal time to be there.

Thanks for your help!

Senior Class of 2021

Senior Stories:

Each year, our fabulous booster club puts together a beautiful memory book for the senior class. All choir seniors need to find a baby and senior picture, and compose a short senior story that includes how choir has impacted your life, thank you's, and your plans for after graduation (college, work force, etc)

Please send your senior story and pictures to by March 31.

Senior Scholarships

Choir students interested in applying for a senior scholarship should complete the application (click below). Please make sure to carefully read the specific criteria provided in the application, and submit your application and essay by the firm deadline of March 31. All applications/essays will be reviewed by the booster club scholarship committee and will be announced during the senior recognition portion of the spring concert!

Please email all required paperwork for the Senior Scholarship to on or before March 31 at 3:00PM. Late applications will not be considered!
