Other Info:
There will be occasions when students are given candy as a reward. If you do not want your child to receive candy, please let us know. We do have alternate items we can hand out as rewards.
Please see the attached healthy snack list. Students are allowed to bring snacks from this list only.
We have very high expectations for every student in the junior high; therefore, we have created a disciplinary/behavior and consequence policy that will be followed. You will be informed via e-mail if your child received a consequence because of behavior that does not meet our expectations.
Please be diligent in checking PowerSchool for missing assignments and current grades. This is an easy way to stay up to date on your child's progress in his/her classes.
Please help us out by ensuring that your child comes to school in attire that follows our uniform policy. Students are having to be told multiple times a day to tuck their shirts in. Please remind them, just as we are here, that tucking in shirts is part of the school uniform. Thank you in advance for your help with this.
Also, please ensure your daughters are not wearing make-up of any kind. We have had several young ladies have to remove it at the beginning of the day. Also, no dangle earrings are allowed. Please see the handbook for more details or email Mrs. Diller with concerns.
Please expect students to have homework on most nights. We are encouraging the use of the planners that were provided for each student. This should be kept in their binders and brought home daily. If they have homework, it should be written down in the planner. Please help us encourage them to continue using the planner as we get further into the year.
