Mrs. Terril's Art Class
In elementary art we have been learning about the elements of art! This past week we have been focusing on space and value. Kindergarten students learned about foreground, midground, and background and created their very own landscape painting with watercolors. In fourth grade we also created a landscape painting with acrylics. Students learned about how value can show space. When things are far away they are lighter in value, when they are closer they are darker. Students were tasked with mixing colors to create a gradient for their landscape. They then decorated them using an analogous color scheme. They turned out amazing!
