Project 111 Cares!
Parents! As Project 111 continues to talk to your teens about CITY DRIVING, we need you to be aware of some very frightening statistics! Many teens are NOT wearing their seatbelts! Please talk to your teen about the importance of buckling up EVERYTIME and EVERYWHERE in a car!
SIXTY PERCENT of teens killed in car accidents were NOT wearing their seatbelts.
All recent statistics show that teens often fail to buckle up if they are a passenger in a car. Please remind your student driver that it is THEIR responsibility to make sure EVERY passenger in their car is buckled. Also, while gruesome, please explain what happens if they get in an accident and are not buckled . . . they WILL become a projectile object and will most likely be ejected from the vehicle. Better to scare them now, then to deal with regret later!
Please talk to your teen about SEATBELTS! Together - let's save lives!
