Message From The Principal
12/11/22 RVHS Newsletter
Happy Sunday Everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well!
Here are just a few details for this coming week!!
Having a Strong Finish To Semester 1
I want to thank everyone for working so hard with your kids to encourage them to complete credits and homework in preparation for the end of the semester. We’re almost there--8 more school days! There’s still time to turn in assignments and talk to teachers about “what else needs to be done”! Remember, the last day of the first semester is Wednesday, December 21st. School is open and attendance is expected through that date.
Tutoring
As you can see from the advertisement below, we are offering tutoring after school on Wednesdays (starting this week). It’s a good opportunity to get some extra help before grades close next week.
Let’s finish strong!!

STUDENT OF THE Week
Linzy Hinojosa
Linzy is new to Rancho, but we already know what a ROCKSTAR she is! Linzy is rarely absent and always on time to my third period STEM class. She walks in with a positive attitude and gets her work done! In addition, she is super respectful and always willing to help out other students!

Ms. Gina --RVHS Social Worker
Teenage years are a critical time when guys and girls make choices that affect the rest of their lives. The empowerment groups provide a safe place where teens can talk about what is really going on in their lives, and a community of mentors and peers who listen, believe in them and help them make better choices. This approach gives teens permission to tell the truth about the challenges all teens face, make their own decisions on how to deal with those challenges, and begin to take responsibility for their choices and the consequences of their actions. It also provided tools needed to navigate through the teen years and transition positively into adulthood.
