Big picture

Spotlight on Pre-Kindergarten!

This month Pre K has started our Research Unit on Buildings. Children will learn about different types of buildings, how things are built, and how people around the world live. Children have been hard at work using homemade T squares and learning how to hammer nails. Children are also creating their own structures out of boxes. The letters of the week this month are T, U, V and W.

Spotlight on MTSS!

The MTSS team is excited to welcome students back under Plan A! The MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) process includes Tier 1 (core) academic and behavior instruction, Tier 2 (supplemental) academic and behavior interventions, and Tier 3 (intensive) academic and behavior interventions. Mrs. Keller and Mrs. Wheeler, Wrightsboro's MTSS Coordinators, are working with classroom teachers to strengthen instructional practices at all three levels of MTSS. Remote students will receive Tier 2 academic interventions through the i-Ready online program and Tier 2 behavior interventions through SeeSaw or Google Classroom.
