We then watched a music video from High School Musical and discussed how each of us is different and unique and then created a leaf to represent our special talent, hobby, or fact. It was great to see students sharing with each other and leading the conversation!
1st Quarter Report Cards
During November, Havel will distribute reports cards electronically. The first marking period grades will be sent electronically to families after scheduled parent-teacher conferences at the end of the day on Friday, November 16, 2018.
To receive the report cards, parents will need to have a secure PowerSchool account. Parents who do not have access to a PowerSchool account will need to register for one prior to Friday, November 9. The report cards will then be automatically e-mailed to the address that is used to register the PowerSchool account. If you already have a PowerSchool account, you do not need to take any further action. The report card automatically will be sent to you electronically.
Please note that if you have students in junior high school and high school, the reports cards will be electronically sent by the end of the day, Friday, November 9, 2018.

Halloween Parade Reminder
Our Halloween parade will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 31st on the kindergarten play pad. If the weather is yucky, we will be parading in the gym. Please be prepared with your ID (and tell any guests that may come to see the parade that they will need their ID as well) in order to enter the school. I am encouraging any parents who attend the parade to sign their child out immediately after and scoot out of the parking lot before dismissal. Thank you for helping us clear the parking lot for a safe dismissal for our busses.
