Play Our Golden Ticket Game!
Give to the Max to support student creativity and expression
Come play our Golden Ticket Game as we rock the USA!
This Thursday, November 16th, is Give to the Max, Minnesota's annual gift-generating event for local nonprofits, and we’ve created a special game to play to raise money to empower student storytelling and spread the word about the awesome creative work our youth are doing!
Each hour on November 16th, Give to the Max will award one Golden Ticket of $1000 through a drawing of all donations transacted during the previous hour. Just $10 enters us into the drawing. The more donations we receive, the more entries and the more likely we are to win the $1000!!! In addition, we want someone in EVERY STATE to donate $10 and learn about the student written, performed and produced sci-fi podcasts HUSH and HUSH Jr, the middle school webisode Shush! and the Boom Site youth literary magazine.
Help us meet our goal of 500 people from across America giving $10 on November 16th
Will you play our game? Here's how:
1. Anytime on November 16th, go to our GiveMN Link and donate $10. Thanks to an anonymous donor, every $10 you give will be matched dollar for dollar.
2. Then, forward this flyer to one person in Minnesota and one person in another state with this note: These students are awesome, and the work they are creating is amazing! Please play the Golden Ticket Game by donating $10 on November 16th to empower student voices and support storytelling at its best.
3. Finally, wait to see if you win a prize! Everyone who donates will be entered into a drawing to receive a HUSH t-shirt or a copy of the Boom Site published anthology signed by the student authors. Don't worry about remembering - we'll send out email reminders on Tuesday and Thursday so you don't miss out on all the fun :)
Thanks to your donation, students can continue to produce original work, grow within an artistic team and learn to collaborate with each other as they develop their leadership and interpersonal skills.
Empathy can be learned; the stories we share are our mentors
