NEXT VEGGIE SWAP ON MONDAY

Rain, rain, go away! We're hoping for better luck and better weather at this week's Book & Veggie swap. Please join us Monday, 8/13 from 8:30 - 8:30 AM at our Salford Hills C.R.O.P.S. garden on the parent pick-up side of the school.

We'll be picking veggies, choosing new books to read, and catching up with friends. Feel free to take produce from our garden and to donate excess from yours. At the end of the evening, all excess will be donated to Keystone Opportunity Center, a food bank in Souderton.

Come for a few minutes, or stay for the hour. We'd love your help in the garden or to hear all about your summer! Can't wait to see you there! Remember to bring the sunshine!

A New School Year Begins

Big picture

August... Already!

With the flip of the calendar we look forward to the arrival of our students in just a few short weeks. 2018-2019 will be fabulous, building on the successes of the previous year. There is change always, but we're moving in the right direction as we teach our children to think, problem-solve, develop social skills, and empower a foundation that will serve them well as adults.

Thank you for your role in what will surely be a year of growth and academic prosperity.

Respectfully,

David Purnell, Ed.D.

Principal, Salford Hills Elem. School

75 Responses Already! We'll Continue to Offer This Survey Through August. Thanks For Your Input!

Wednesday Message Feedback Survey - Please Help!

Maybe summertime isn’t the best time to ask for feedback, but I use these months as a chance to reflect and look ahead. In doing so, I’d like your feedback on The Wednesday Message. At its core, the vision for this weekly parent communication tool is to keep the SH family informed about future events, celebrate successes, educate, and foster community. I’d like to know a little more about how you think that’s going. More importantly, what would make it better.

Would you consider taking a few moments to share some thoughts? We’re always looking to become better at Salford Hills. It’s part of our growth mindset. Your voice is important to us.

Thanks in advance for your role in producing a better product every week.

Dr. Purnell
