Falcon PTA Jog-a-Thon Fundraiser - Second Milestone Met!

We are well on our way to meeting our goal thanks to all of you! Our goal is $40,000. We have already earned over $20,000 just after two weeks! This milestone earns our students an extra recess that will be scheduled soon. Our next mini-milestone will earn the entire student body a popsicle!

Here is the link for you to register your student(s) to begin online pledging:

Cash and checks are also happily accepted. Please make checks payable to: "Fanning PTA"

The Great California Shakeout

Students and staff participated in The Great California Shakeout last week. We practiced our evacuation procedures, sweep and rescue, first-aide, and parent/student reunification. Practicing these procedures allows us to be better prepared if a large earthquake hits while students are on campus. I'm proud of our Falcons!

Halloween Costumes

Halloween is an exciting day for our students. We will be celebrating Halloween on Friday,

Oct. 29 at our school. I wanted to give you advance notice about guidelines for school appropriate costumes.

Students are allowed to dress in costumes. Costumes should

always follow our school dress code and be appropriate for

elementary age students from ages 4 to 12. Costumes should not

depict or suggest violence. No costume masks, makeup, hair color or

props please. Parents may be called to bring appropriate clothing or to remove makeup.

Your child's teacher will be sending home more detailed information about class parties.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Fridays: Wear your Falcon spirit wear!
