CPU is the abbreviation for Central Processing Unit. the CPU is the brains of the computer where the calculations take place. the CPU is probably the most important part of the computer. Modern day CPU's are small and square. Since CPU was first invented the speed and capabilities have improved a lot.

The first CPU was made on November 15th,1971.

The CPU is installed onto the motherboard.

RAM is an acronym for Random Access Memory. It is referred to as main memory, primary memory or system memory. It is a computer storage location. The computer is able to access it quickly because it is random memory and not of a hard drive.
