Homework-Free February Break
This is just a reminder that we will be holding "Homework-Free" February Break. This news was communicated with families in this weekend's newsletter. We are hoping that our students and teachers will enjoy the break from all of their school commitments and have some time to do all of the things that they love, such as sleep, read, and spend time with their friends and family.
Mandatory Health Screening - Week of February 24
During the week after vacation, KPMS will complete our mandatory health screening program called Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT). SBIRT is an evidence-based practice used to identify, reduce, and prevent problematic use, abuse, and dependence on alcohol and illicit drugs. A nurse from the high school will be coming to KPMS to help us complete the screening portion. The screening will take place in the Computer Room (101) all week.
Here is a copy of the letter that was sent home to families.
