A Message From Our Principal
- Line your kids up in the classroom however you want them to sit in the lunchroom: boy girl, number order, etc. Have students with lunchboxes in the front of the line, please! ALL students will walk through the line, even if they have lunchboxes.
- Your kids will always just sit in the next available seat even if it mixes with another class. When there’s a break in grade level such as fifth to second or third to first — start a new table.
- Be mindful of drop off and pick up times to avoid back-up. Enter through the court yard and exit through the second grade hallway.
- Dismiss your students the same way you did before even if they are split among two tables — still one side of the table at a time. Try to keep your kids in a line and to one side as they go to put their trays up to keep traffic flowing.
- Remind students as they line up over by the wall to exit, it is important they are in a line – catching a bubble, hips and lips or however you explain to your class to line up appropriately- this is a great time to award dojo points for lining up and staying in a quiet line as you come over to escort the class out.
THANK YOU! Please let us know if you have any questions!
