New This Week
WILDLife Spring Session Signup Ends Sunday!
FCCLA Animal Shelter Drive
The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) needs your help! They are collecting dog and cat food, animal collars, and t-shirts (to make animal toys) for a local animal shelter. They will be collecting these items until Friday, February 28. Check out this video for more information, and thank you for helping!
Random Acts of Kindness Week
The week of February 17 to 21 is Random Acts of Kindness Week. We want to think about how we can impact and support those around us. Think about the bus driver, security person, or staff member that your child interacts with every day – a kind note, a friendly wave as you drop your child off or pick them up, goes a long way. Students can help make others feel appreciated – their friends, family, and neighbors with small, little acts of kindness. If you are interested in more information about this week, please visit the Random Acts of Kindness web page.
Annual Parent & Family Survey
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) will release the LCPS Annual Parent and Family Survey on Tuesday, February 18. The online survey will be delivered to parents midday via text message and email. Parents will receive one message for each grade level—elementary, middle or high—in which they have a student enrolled.
The survey asks for feedback about the learning environment in your child’s school to help us in future planning. All survey responses are anonymous. The survey will be open through Friday, March 6. We greatly appreciate your participation!
