Important: Needs Assessment Parent Input

You input is vital as a parent. Please take a few minutes to participate in our Needs Assessment. It is anonymous. The results are used to help us make better decision on how we support students. One way we use the information is to guide our creation of our Title 1 Single Plan for Student Achievement.

We thank you in advance for supporting us by sharing your input.

Lobook Club

WOW Club

WOW is back! WOW meets Thursdays from 2:25-3:00! If you're finding it kind of hard to make friends, meet new people, or would just like someone to talk to, WOW is here for you! WOW is a place for students to come and connect with other kids looking to make new friends and have FUN! The Google Classroom code is: “vcyvwkz.” That’s where you’ll find the Zoom link.

DFY in SCV

DFY in SCV is starting a new mentoring program between high school and junior high students. We will be hosting a monthly meeting where the high school students will pass down information that they wish they knew before entering high school. This is a great opportunity for junior high students to speak with high school students about any of their concerns leading into high school. All junior high students are welcome including seventh graders. It’s never too early to be prepared. Our first meeting is taking place on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 4:00pm.

Student Desks Available for Home

Is your student struggling with staying focused and organized during this time of distance learning? Is he or she in need of a dedicated work space at home?

Having a small desk to work and study from can certainly help.

Canyon English Teacher Laurel Priesz and WiSH Education Foundation Director Amy Daniels have teamed up to offer a foldable tray table & chair to any Hart District student in need. Sets will be available for pickup at the Hart District Office on select Saturdays each month.

If you would like to receive a set for your student, please fill out and sign the attached form with your child (completing it electronically using the Kami chrome extension is the easiest way) and email it to Laurel Priesz at lpriesz@hartdistrict.org.

Wednesdays each week are the deadline for form submission for the next pickup date and dependent upon supply. Once your paperwork is received, you and your student will be notified via the email on the form when your pickup date will be, along with the address and instructions. Deliveries are always on a Saturday between 11am and Noon.

Please contact Laurel Priesz lpriesz@hartdistrict.org or Amy Daniels wish@hartdistrict.org with any questions.
