Annual Henry Ford Museum and Rouge Factory Tour Field Trip

On Saturday, May 7th, students will meet at our CMF location for our annual field trip to explore the Henry Ford Museum and tour the Ford Rouge Plant. All students attending will need a signed permission slip and a sack lunch (no refrigeration or microwave available). The bus will leave promptly at 8:20 AM and return at 4:30 PM.

Shop Rat Education Program Year End Celebration

Thursday, June 9th, 6:30-8:30pm

1313 West North Street

Jackson, MI

Help us celebrate our amazing students and the incredible skills they've developed this year with an evening of pizza, skating, laser tag and more. Immediate families are welcome to accompany student participants, though an RSVP is requested one week prior to the event. Certificates will be handed out to all students present.

Ignite Your Summer

This year we are proud to offer students in 3 Counties the opportunity to participate in Shop Rat Summer Camps! We will run our Introductory Shop Rat Summer Camp in Jackson, Lenawee and Livingston Counties, as well as our Build It! Construction Camp and Tinker Camp in Jackson. Through the Shop Rat Education Program, 3,000 youth, enrolled in grades 6-12 will participate in interactive opportunities allowing them to gain exposure to, explore and prepare for manufacturing and skilled trades careers annually.
