Last Family Skating Party of the School Year!
This Monday, April 8th 6 – 8 pm
Let’s get as many skaters as we can to ROLL into this PARTY! Mrs. Booth will be there with her skates on and hopefully some teachers will join us too! Maybe you can get your teacher to come skate. The SS PTA will receive ½ the admission back from each skater with your class. This is a BIG opportunity to help raise some money. Fun, music, and exercise with family and friends while helping Silver Springs earn money. It’s a Win-Win for all! Wear your sticker for a FREE drink. Also, there is a drawing to win a skating party.
Don’t miss out on this fun evening with your friends and family!

7-Habits Take Home Activity for March
This month’s Habit: Habit 5 Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Activity: Eyes, Ears, Heart Activity
Due Date: March 29, 2019
Habit #5 - Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
What this means: Listen before you talk. In order to communicate effectively, we must first understand each other.
“I listen to other people’s ideas and feelings.”
“I try to see things from their viewpoints.”
“I listen to others without interrupting.”
“I am confident in voicing my ideas.”
“I look people in the eyes when talking.”
How can I do this in my life?
1. Listen.
2. Put yourself in the other person’s place.
3. Notice a person’s body language, tone, and reflection in their voice.
