Our program has developed general weather-related guidelines for preschool classes held in our Nature Play Area at Arbor View Early Childhood Center. Parents/guardians will be notified in advance of any future changes to our weather related program practices. The weather related guidelines are subject to change based on program needs.

• Dress your child for the weather conditions and outdoor messy play.

• Rain suits (sizes 3T & 4T and rain boots (sizes 9, 10, 11) are available for your child to use during class time.
  

• Families are expected to provide winter clothing.

In addition to the guidelines above, when making a decision about where class time will be held Osseo EC&FE will use information from The Weather Channel for the City of Maple Grove, MN and consider other weather factors such as: heat, wind, air quality, snowfall and rain.

Parents/guardians will be notified by the program at least one hour prior to the start of class if there is a change in drop off location from curbside at the Nature Play Area to Door #1/main entrance.
