Project 111
The Safe Driving Movement, launched at MHS this week. Juniors and seniors received lanyards and wristbands and learned HOW to earn amazing incentives by staying traffic ticket free! Project 111 and our amazing team of leadership students at MHS work, daily, to keep your teens safe behind the wheel!
Please remind your student to sign up for Project 111. They cannot earn one of our amazing incentives this year without signing up.
The entire month of October we will be teaching your teen drivers about the dangers of distracted driving. Project 111 would like to remind you that DISTRACTED DRIVING IS DANGEROUS!!!!
Distracted driving is anything that takes your eyes off the road, your hands off the wheel, or your mind off of driving. Texting while driving is especially dangerous because it combines all three types of distraction. Sending or reading a text message takes your eyes off the road for about 5 seconds, long enough to cover this entire football field while driving at 55 mph.
Parents! Please set a good example! PLEASE DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE!!!! Project 111 Cares!
