SISD recognized as 1 of 8 districts in nation for inclusive technology use

The Center for Inclusive Technology and Education Systems (CITIES) has recognized Sheldon as one of eight school districts across the nation named a Knowledge Center for its use of inclusive technology as part of instruction.

To be awarded this designation, SISD was nominated by another school district, answered an extensive survey of practices and was interviewed by CAST, the nation's leading organization for Universal Design for Learning. This is an exciting opportunity to have this designation as it acknowledges the work the district completed as well as its continued commitment to using technology that allows all learners access to the curriculum.
