Wolfpack Weekly

12/4/202

Dear Families,

Can you believe it's already December?! It is difficult to believe that almost half the school year is already completed, and the holidays will be here soon. In these three weeks in December, students will be completing iReady assessments in Math and ELA so teachers can best understand how to support your child moving forward. As a reminder- please allow your child to complete the iReady assessment independently. It can be challenging to stand by as students may struggle with questions, but taking the assessment independently will help us best understand their present levels.

Upcoming Events:

  • ELAC → Fri. 12/11
  • Picture Make-ups → Fri. 12/11 @ 2:00pm
  • School Site Council → Mon. 12/14 @ 2:30pm
  • LGSD Board Meeting → Tues. 12/15
  • Coffee with the Principal → Fri. 12/18
  • Winter Break → 12/21 - 1/4

We would like to express our appreciation to our staff, parents, and students for your incredible patience and flexibility so far this school year. We realize that this has been a difficult time for everyone, but our school community has come together to ensure that our students at LGAM are receiving the education and support that they deserve. We are so thankful for your patience, resilience, adaptability, and kindness. It's a blessing to be in such a wonderful school district. We hope everyone has a safe and healthy winter break. Happy Holidays!

Out & About San Diego

This Fall, youth and young adults ages 5 to 25 from anywhere in San Diego County can explore the outdoors while safely creating friendships, building community, and developing leadership skills for all of life’s explorations. This program is free and made possible with funding from the County of San Diego.

As Outdoor Outreach facilitates in person programs, the health and wellness of our community is our priority. We have adapted our programs to local and state health guidelines as related to COVID-19. Face coverings must be worn through the duration of the program. As new updates are released we will continue to modify our practices, procedures and policies.
