Prom 2023

Although this year's prom at the Civic Center was a great evening, Kaufman High School has a group of junior and senior parents who've asked to take over all activities related to prom. Several surrounding districts no longer host a school-led prom. The district and campus leadership are supportive of this endeavor. Moving forward, prom will not be a KHS sponsored activity; It will be a parent-led activity. We are thrilled to have parents who want to lead this special event.

The coordinating sponsor for "Prom 2023" will be Jennifer Prestridge. To contact her about helping support their efforts please contact:

KHS Football Schedules

Friday Night Lights will be here before we know it. Our Lion football teams will start the year with a scrimmage against Jacksonville, here at KHS!

If 7-on-7 was any indication of what will happen this fall, it should be an exciting season. The boys played hard in College Station and picked up multiple wins. They defeated the only other district team to make the trip, the Anna Coyotes, in route to finishing in the the Elite Eight. Good luck Lions!

Student Section Notes:

There will be a student section again this year! We want to see you in the stands on Friday nights.

The section will be on the south end, nearest the new scoreboard. It will be marked off by our high school administrators each week. If you attend a Varsity game, you must either sit with your parents or sit in the student section.

The goal of a student section is for the high school students to create a fun and safe atmosphere that supports the football team, band, drill team, and cheerleaders. The student section must be under control and individual students will be held responsible for their actions.

The student section should:

1) Create a exciting atmosphere.

2) Be LOUD!

3) Provide a passionate fanbase & a home-field advantage for our team.

The student section should NOT:

1) Be destructive.

2) Throw food or any other items.

3) Cause a disruption to other individuals gameday experience.

You are encouraged to bring COWBELLS, noise shakers, etc., and create a LOUD and EXCITING environment that supports our team! Our cheerleaders will be promoting a THEME each week... Dress up, Be Loud, & GO LIONS!

Senior Brunch - Need 2 Senior Parent Volunteers

Senior Brunch is a FUN event that many of our seniors participate in towards the end of their time at Kaufman High School. Coach Armstrong and his ROAR TV staff provides the Senior Video based upon the pictures that are shared with them..... This year over 400 family members, friends, and students attended the event at FBC Kaufman.
