Congratulations again to Angela Clark, our Teacher of the Year, and to Evelyn Cross, our Support Person of the Year! They were honored Tuesday night at the Madison County Schools’ EXCEL Awards for Excellence in Education!
Congratulations to Amy Stuchlik on being accepted as a Delegate for the 2018 Congress of Future Medical Leaders!
Members of the Sparkman High School National Honor Society and the Sparkman Ninth Grade Junior Civitan and SGA served at Parker Chapel’s community trunk or treat event on October 20th. The students worked hard to serve the community!
Our Senator Learning Community students had a great time at Special Olympics this week!

PARKING INFORMATION
Parking decals are available to purchase for all Juniors and Seniors for $20. You may pay for your decal using MySchool fees or you can pay with cash or check.
Sophomores may turn in required paperwork and will be placed on the waiting list.
Paperwork you will need to bring:
- a copy of your receipt
- a copy of your Driver’s license
- a copy of your proof of insurance
- a completed parking application
Myschool fees - Please make sure you enter your student’s name in the space when checking out. If you are purchasing decals for more than one student please to complete a separate transaction for each student

Decals will be assigned and distributed after the first week of school. Decals cannot be transferred to another student or vehicle.
Remember, you will not be issued a decal if you have any outstanding fees (course fees, textbook fines, etc).
MySchool Fees - Online Payment System to pay for Fees
- Go to https://sparkmanhigh.mcssk12.org/
- Select “Resources”
- Select “MySchoolFees”
- Select “Category”
- Pick “Course” and add to Cart (Repeat as needed)
- Once all categories have been selected, hit “Checkout” button and follow instructions for payment. (Do not check use billing information to create a MySchoolFees.com account)
- Click on who will “own Public Fees” and designate if the funds are for the same recipient or several recipients
- If funds are for the same recipient, identify the recipient by typing in the recipient’s name.
- If funds are for several recipients, identify the recipient by typing in the recipient’s name for each category.
- Submit and continue.
- Follow instructions to checkout
The Senator Yearbook is currently on sale for $75. Books may be purchased at MySchool Fees or in Room 127 before or after school.

Sparkman Cross Country Team
The Senators Cross Country team competed on Saturday afternoon at the Last Chance Invitational. TWENTY team members earned new Personal Records (PRs) this week. They are Seniors TJ Patterson, Adam Depew and Zach Kelley. Juniors Omar Myers, Jacob Soler and Olivia Stout. Sophomore Baily Wallace. Freshman Patrick Moody, Daniel Hovermale, Josh Comer, Jacob Davidson, Andy Purcell and Taylor Guess. Eighth grader Abby Saalwaechter and Seventh graders Wyatt Harris, Gavin Steely, Quenton Borden, Sam Menikheim, Afton Hopkins and Emma Saalwaechter. Impressive!! The Girls Varsity team finished 4th out of 12 teams, the Varsity Boys 6th of 18 teams and the Boys JV team finished 7th out of 10 teams.
