IN THE NEWS
Please join us welcoming our new Assistant Director of Development Sandra Aldama to the UCLA Lab School Development team, part of Ed & IS (previously known as the Graduate School of Education and Information Sciences.)
Sandra graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in 2014 with a B.A. in History, with a special emphasis on Latin American Studies. During her undergraduate career, Sandra also worked as a work-study student at the UCLA Lab School for four years. While at the Lab School she helped to make a significant impact on annual fund support, through her work on initiatives including the Viva Auction and Birthday Book Club. We are confident that Sandra’s knowledge and skills will be a great asset to our school.
Sandra’s contact e-mail will be email@example.com .
Our new technology director is here. Please say hello and introduce yourself.
Long term substitute in Rooms 1 and 2. Genna will be here Tuesday and Wednesdays all day and Thursday morning.
Please make sure that you complete the attached "Bonus Year Candidate" form, and return to Norma's office by the end of your parent conferences or no later than Friday, February 13th. If you haven't done so already, please make sure to request a Child Study Team meeting for the specific students recommended for a bonus year, so that we can better understand the challenging areas and discuss how we might provide support for the student.
