ONLINE WELLNESS CLASSES
Hello JABSOM Community!
Although on-campus Kakaʻako Wellness Classes are currently on hold, the following instructors have graciously offered to provide on-line classes. The reason the Kakaʻako Wellness classes have been no-cost all these years is because these instructors generously volunteer their time and energy. Please show them gratitude and appreciation for all they do to help keep us healthy and well!
YOGA
Mariana Larez, who usually teaches yoga on Wednesdays at 12:30pm, is inviting those who are interested, to participate in online classes sponsored by Lulu Lemon where she also teaches. Visit this link to check out the class schedule.

TAI CHI
Chip Ellis who usually teaches Tai Chi for Beginners, and Intermediate Level Taijiquan on Wednesday evenings, is inviting you to join his classes online via Zoom. If you are interested or have any questions, email Chip directly at cellis@ucera.org. On Wednesdays shortly before the start of class, Chip will send you a Zoom invitation. You will then log in to Zoom and the meeting, and you'll see Chip and others giving instruction over the screen. They will also be able to see and interact with you.
Updates will be provided if any of the other instructors make their offerings available on-line.

JABSOM Researcher welcomes his 10th St. Baldricks Summer Research Fellow
Jessica Natale, the 2020 St. Baldrick's Foundation grant recipient at UH-Manoa, will work with Pediatrician and Researcher Bruce Shiramizu, MD, as his 10th Summer Fellow in as many years. Undergraduate Natale will focus on generating a standardized control of Raman spectroscopy scans to detect pediatric Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
