A great writing prompt app which allows students to work on writing and creativity!

An excellent note taking app which allows students to highlight passages from websites and teachers to embed instructions into any digital text.

A great new storybook experience with the purchase of the book, the app brings the book to life!
Skitch
Great annotation tool for maps and other pictures. This app is great for working on mapping skills and creating legends and keys.
Aurasma
Aurasma allows students to turn a book cover to a $5 bill into a qr code which is connected to some type of video whether it is to explain something or to share your favorite book!
Mad Lips
Students can approach fluency and oral presentation skills creatively using the Mad Lips app, which is fun and engaging.
Pic Collage
Great app for adding groups of pictures in different layouts. Great for writing prompts or to add in websites, blogs, or in conjuction with other apps.
Audio Boo
This app is similar to Voice Thread but even easier! Great for oral presentation skills and story telling. Works with all subjects.

A great screen-casting tool! This app can be used by the teacher for flipping the classroom or by students presenting or teaching information. All subjects.
Story Buddy or Story Buddy2
An excellent story creator app! Creates books with painting, photos, and text to share with students, teachers, and family!
Felt Board
This app is great for young learners creating and telling stories. Great visualization tool! Not free.
Explain Everything
Explain Everything is an easy-to-use design, screen casting, and interactive whiteboard tool that lets you annotate, animate, narrate, import and export almost anything from anywhere.
Popplet
Popplet is a platform for your ideas. With Popplet you can capture your ideas, sort them visually, and collaborate with others in real time. Formerly Wallwisher.
Quizlet
Quizlet allows students to study information with three differnet study modes in 18 different lanquages to reinforce pronunciation and retention.
Mr. Potato Head
Create and customize Mr. Potato head with over 200 different pieces. Great for story building and sparking creativity and imagination in your students. Not free.
Doodle Buddy
Paint, draw, scribble, and sketch! Doodle Buddy is a great multimedia app which allow you to draw, trace letters, write, and add stamps. Great for early learners and for early writers or for older illustrators.
Fancy QR Generator
Fancy QR Generator allows you to create your QR code from your ipad and color it as well. You can store the QR code in your photostream so that students can share each others' QR codes and scan within the photo album.

This app makes learning about the 50 states fun and engaging! Learn about capitols, geographic location, and state while trying to win the game.

Stack the Countries is similar to Stack the States but students are learning about different countries all around the world in the different continents while trying to beat each level of the game.
