Principal's Notes and Highlights

Happy Friday!

Take Us With You

Whether you are going on vacation or making this Spring Break a "Staycation", please take us with you! Pack your school spirit wear and snap a photo of our favorite students enjoying their time off. Be sure to "tag" CSA Lincoln Community on Facebook so we can share all the fun!

  • Congratulations to Mr. Shipley's class, The Goats, for winning the CSA Lincoln Dodgeball Tournament yesterday afternoon! It was a tough battle and all teams competed well.
  • Congratulations to, Gwen Hemmerlein, winner of the Quarterly Husky Gram Drawing! The prize package included a night at Hotel Indigo, passes to the Rock Gym, movie passes, and much more!
  • We said goodbye to Calla and Drake Myers today. They are moving to California. We will miss them!
  • Congratulations to the students for winning the Staff vs. Student Basketball game this past Wednesday. It was a close battle and the staff played hard. They had the extra incentive to wear jeans the rest of the week if they won. 6th grader Henry Sims hit a halfcourt shot as time expired to win the game 44-43! I've included photos from the game that were shared with me.
  • We welcomed the Class of 2031 this past Tuesday to CSA Lincoln! Eli (photo) was feeling right at home at his new school!
  • Second Grade students shared their US President presentations this past week. Click the button below for photos from the event!
  • First Grade students shared their Wildlife Projects this past week. Click the button below for photos from the event!
  • A special thank you to Heritage Automotive Sales for the $600 check! A portion of their sales from each month are given to a school. We were selected for February and appreciate their support!
  • Indiana Pacer tickets are headed home in backpacks today!
  • Reminder that school resumes on Thursday, March 22nd!

Have a great Spring Break!

Updates and Upcoming Events

  • Helping the Homeless- Sydney and Sophie (5th Grade) approached me a couple weeks ago with an interest in helping those who are homeless. They have been working extremely hard on their own time and will be working with local businesses on their own. Here is an outline of what they are sharing with the community. We are very proud of their initiative and desire to go above and beyond!

  • CSA Lincoln is collecting Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House as part of Key Club's (North and East High Schools) 17th Annual Aluminum Tab Collection Contest. Please send in your tabs to school. The tabs collected will be turned into money that supports the Ronald McDonald House! See flyer (below) for more information.
