Gator Library Learnings Commons

READ. CONNECT. DISCOVER. MAKE.

Below are a few things from the Gator Library Learning Commons as we enter into the summer months!

- It isn't too early to start on your 2017-18 Bluebonnet Reading. If your child will be in the 3rd - 5th grade in the new school year, I hope they will take part in the Bluebonnet Reading Program. If they read 5 or more books, they will be able to vote in the state-wide voting contest to select our state winner in January. Get started now! Go to the following link on this webpage to read more about the program and to get a list of books!

-A huge thanks for all who helped make our Spring Book Fair a wonderful success. We got tons of books in the hands of our students as we enter into the summer months. Thank you to all the wonderful Glenhope volunteers that helped plan, worked the register, decorated, and to all of the parents who supported the fair! This allows us to purchase new books, have visiting authors, and many other exciting things centered around reading!

-As the summer months approach, consider a fun way to keep your child reading over the summer. All of the local libraries have fun weekly activities to encourage reading throughout the summer!
