Have fun with "Get to Know You" activities!!!!!!!! "First week of physical school" picture back-drops will be located throughout the school (Frame themes: "We are Stronger Together", "CCE Instagram","Oh the Places You'll Go", "Welcome Back" chalk wall) so please take your kiddos to any of them to take pics the first week of school if you like. I know parents will really appreciate it since they can not be on campus this year for pics.
Thank you to our amazing aides for creating them!

Did you have a student transfer to your classroom from another classroom? Virtual or In-Person? Do you need FRECKLE DATA or RAZ-KIDS Data to Transfer to YOU?
Hello teachers I can't believe the time to have children in our classrooms has arrived. As you know parents have been requesting changes from in-person to virtual or vice versa causing some of you to lose or gain students. I have been asked if students could be transferred from teacher to teacher in programs such as Freckle and Raz-kids.
Great news we can!
Here are visuals on how to do so. From what I researched the teacher losing the student needs to do the transferring to the receiving teacher. Hope this helps.
How to transfer students in Freckle
How to transfer students in Raz-kids
Virtual Teachers, do you need a Ready 2 Go Letter explaining Freckle to Parents?
Note: District is reviewing Staffing Numbers and Class Counts this Week. Thank you for your flexibility as your classroom counts change!
Your SubPops/Class Rosters have an update!
GLLs- this is another good topic to review and demonstrate with your team, if needed.
Thank you, Mrs. Jeffers and Mrs. Fox for streamlining the collection of the data view on that column!

What will happen if the teacher (YOU) has to Quarantine?
From our district:
If you are an IN-PERSON teacher that is sent home by HR for a COVID 19 related reason (positive case, reporting symptoms, close contact with positive case, etc.) and you are able and willing to fulfill your teaching duties from home, the campus principal and our district staff will do our utmost to allow you to continue to teach from home. A sub will be secured for your classroom to manage students while we set up a live video feed to the classroom for the regular teacher to talk and interact with their students. We will not have all the students go 100% asynchronous if they are not needing to quarantine.
If teacher continues their duties, they will NOT use leave days.
The process in AESOP is as follows:
"teachers that will need to teach remotely due to COVID-related quarantine or isolation and require a substitute to be present in their class will need to enter their time in AESOP and use the reason "school-related absence." This code will prevent any of their personal time from being used."
Amy Huddleston will contact any teacher who needs to quarantine.
What's Happening at the Creek:
RenSTAR Student Screener Window closed last week! BUT we know that the scores seem inflated (parents may have helped some), IF you see that as well with your scores, please reach out to Gloria for a re-do at school. We can help coordinate that!
