News From the Nest
They are so Xtra
IXL Live is an experiential workshop covering all of IXL's key components in a convenient half-day session—and it's a lot of fun, too! We were able to send a team of teachers to dive deeper and learn how to use IXL as effectively as possible. These four teachers - Mr. Justin Quigg, Ms. Alyssa Dimon, Ms. Evie Stewart, and Ms. Jillian Perry - are our new IXL experts!
Teacher Leaders
The TCCHS Leadership/School Improvement Team met for the first time to discuss our literacy instruction goals. These teachers are your leaders. They are your voice. Please contact a Lead Team member if you have a question or concern, or if you need assistance with anything!
Cyber Safety
Thanks to Parent Engagement Coordinator Allison NeSmith who helped coordinate our community wide Social Media Safety presentation. Sgt. Jesse Hambrick discussed ways to keep our teens (and us) safe in our digital world. We had a great turnout, and the presentation will be posted soon!
I'm Just Glad They Chose an Appropriate Name
Our faculty kickball team played their first games Thursday night, earning their first win over Garrison-Pilcher. Look at this impressive group! Thanks, Mr. Michael Clapper for pulling our team together. We look forward to a fun and successful season!
