Don’t worry you won’t be boiling we will get some winds up to 10-20 miles per hour, also some moist air mass will pass by. Today we are going to have a mixture of high and low pressure. It will start off with clear and sunny skies and then turn breezy So don’t spend your day at your house. Go outside and have some fun! Now for the last standing area the cloud cover. The cloud cover today is going to be partly sunny and is going to be smoking hot. Have a great evening and go have some fun, Phoenix!

Geographical Impact on Phoenix Weather

One factor that influences the climate in Arizona is that it is 114,006 square miles of which 113,642 square miles is land and 364 square miles is covered by water making this a very dry city. Phoenix’s elevation is in between 1,000- 2,000 ft which is not that high above sea level. Phoenix Arizona is a Southwest state and is surrounded by other states making it dry. Since there’s no ocean near it, the water can’t evaporate so the water cycle can’t go anywhere making Arizona not have a lot of precipitation. In fact it has 325 sunny days a year and is one of the sunniest areas in the U.S.A.

Phoenix city

This is a picture of Phoenix Arizona the city. In this picture it is sunset, and the building lights are on. The clouds are stratus clouds, they bring no weather and are kind of like fog in the morning. So we can guess that the sun is rising.
